Question:PCXR Series samplers: How are they used in low flow mode?
Answer:Low flow applications on the PCXR Series require an adjustable low flow holder (224-26 Series):
  1. Turn the pump on and adjust the flow to approximately 1.5 L/min. (Attach nothing to the intake of the pump.)
  2. Remove the protective cap covering the regulator shut-off valve. (It is the small round screw on top of the pump.) Open the regulator shutoff valve by turning the adjustment screw 4-5 turns counterclockwise. Replace the protective cap.
  3. Connect an adjustable low flow holder to the filter housing intake.
  4. Insert an opened tube in the adjustable low flow holder's rubber sleeve and connect a flowmeter to the exposed end of the tube.
  5. Turn the pump on and turn the adjustment screw ON THE ADJUSTABLE FLOW HOLDER until the flowmeter displays the desired flow rate.
