Sampling: Insert media into impactor, program a sampling schedule into the pump and carry or ship the system to the site in one compact case. On location mount bracket and impactor, connect pump, calibrate, and sample.

The DPS System Advantage

Portability and Fast Deployment. Other systems require multiple cases and are cumbersome to transport and set up. The SKC DPS System is contained in one easily carried case that has been customized for convenient system operation; the pump even stays in the case during sampling. Deployment takes only a few minutes.

Disposable Pre-oiled Impaction Substrate. No cleaning or greasing required.

Flexible Programmability. The DPS System pump may be programmed manually using the pump's simple three-button keypad or by using a PC and the DataTrac® Software accessory. DataTrac Software provides advanced scheduling options and allows the user to produce reports.

Ruggedness. Housed in a lockable heavy-duty splash and dust resistant Pelican case, the SKC DPS System is cushioned in custom foam. A rain cover is included to protect the IMPACT Sampler.

 

IMPACT Sampler — The Heart the of DPS System The compact, lightweight Impact Sampler* is the sampling head included in the DPS System. This inertial impactor is designed to efficiently remove particles larger than its cut-point by capturing them on a disposable oiled impaction disk that reduces particle bounce. Particles that are smaller than the cut-point are collected on a 47-mm filter. The IMPACT Sampler mounts easily and makes media changes fast and simple with its convenient filter cassette and opener * Patent pending

The IMPACT Sampler efficiently collects particulate matter on a 47-mm filter. Studies indicate that quartz filters and PTFE (Teflon) filters with a 2.0-µm pore size and support ring may be used for optimal performance.
