Provide a little extra protection while performing confined space tasks with the EntryRAE personal confined space entry monitor with photoionization detector (PID). EntryRAE monitors up to four gases and features a modular patented self-cleaning PID to detect VOCs. EntryRAE is reliable, simple to operate, and easy to calibrate. Only EntryRAE delivers added protection without added complexity.

The EntryRAE Advantage

In general, four-gas monitors do not detect VOCs. While VOCs are combustible, they are often found at levels below the 10% measured by LEL sensors. Yet, VOCs are commonly found in the cleaners, solvents, adhesives, and fluids found in or brought into confined spaces. The PID included in the EntryRAE can detect these low-level compounds and alert workers to exposure. The PID can also act as a reliable backup to LEL sensors, which can be poisoned by common chemicals and become unreliable.
