The Humidity STICK combines a patented "drift-free" humidity sensor, portability, and low cost in one easy-to-use instrument. A quick-action display shows relative humidity (% RH), temperature, and calculated dew point measurements. The display is mounted in a patented swivel head for easy viewing. A rotating cap protects the sensor when the instrument is not in use. One three-volt battery provides approximately 200 hours of operation. The stable Humidity STICK sensor will provide years of use.

Relative Humidity and Dew Point

Relative humidity (RH) is the ratio between the actual amount of water vapor in air versus the potential amount of water vapor that can be held in air at a specific temperature. RH is reported as a percentage. Dew point temperature is the temperature at which air becomes saturated with water and condensation begins to form. Relative humidity is at 100% and the ambient air temperature equals the dew point temperature when this occurs. Relative humidity plays an important role in indoor air quality, occupant comfort, and production processes. Therefore, it should be monitored on a regular basis.
