The Micro-Environmental Monitor (MEM) is a line-operated compact aerosol sampling
system that includes an ultra-quiet pump, single-stage impactor, and final filter
for area particulate monitoring. The MEM uses a sampling flow rate of 10 L/min
and is equipped with either a PM10 or PM2.5 sampling head for determining airborne
particle concentration in the chosen size range. Particles smaller than the cut-point
are collected on a 37 mm filter for gravimetric or chemical analysis. The sampling
head consists of a PM10 or PM2.5 single-stage impactor and final filter mounted
on top of the cabinet.
