Tough, loud, bright, and smart, the Dräger Pac® III is one of the
most versatile single-gas monitors available. Its rugged housing withstands
impact,
heat, cold, water, and dust and provides superior RFI resistance. Alarms
are the loudest and brightest with all alarms and warnings announced
with audible and visual signals and a display message or character. Using
one
of 30 intelligent DrägerSensors, Pac III detects and compares
the current gas level against pre-configured alarm values. Sensors can
be interchanged quickly allowing one instrument to be configured for
several different workers and applications. The Pac III is easy to operate
from
its
simple three-button keypad. Functions are adjustable using easy-to-read
menus and are protected by pass code. The battery-powered Pac III operates
for
600 hours on one alkaline battery. Pac III is UL Listed for flammable
gases/vapors and combustible dusts and has received approvals from CSA,
MSHA, EX, and ATEX; CE marked.

exposure for TWA, STEL, or ceiling values, the Pac III Hygiene Monitor records
and stores in excess of 125 hours of gas exposure at one-minute intervals.

E-Cal Station
Calibrating Dräger gas detection instruments is now as easy as "point
and click." The Dräger E-Cal Station opens gas cylinders and delivers
the calibration gas to 1 to 10 Dräger gas detection instruments, reads
the concentration, makes the appropriate adjustments, documents the procedure,
and exhausts the gas. Ten instruments can be calibrated and completely
documented in less than 15 minutes total. The E-Cal system is a very valuable
instrument
management and productivity tool.

ABOUT Dräger XS Sensors
For extra stability, use interchangeable user-replaceable electrochemical
XS sensors for the Pac III, MiniWarn, and X-am 7000 gas monitors to measure
over 50 different gases and vapors. Dräger XS sensors feature built-in
gas-specific intelligence, superior temperature stability, pressure compensation,
minimum cross-sensitivity to background gases, and constant validation
of sensor performance. These sensors require less frequent calibration
compared to other electrochemical sensors. Calibrated XS sensors can be
transferred from unit to unit without recalibration. Carbon monoxide, hydrogen
sulfide, and oxygen (0 to 25 Vol. %) versions of the XS sensors carry a
three-year warranty and only require annual recalibration.
Dräger XS-R Sensors
The latest generation of intelligent electrochemical DrägerSensors
offer all the technical advantages of the XS sensors, but feature a 5-year
warranty. Available for CO, H2S, and O2, they are
compatible with the Pac III, MiniWarn, Multiwarn II, and X-am 7000 monitors.
