One sampler will sample for a full 8-hour day or a short-term 15-minute
sample if exposure is widely intermittent
|
Step 1.
|
|
Remove the sampler with cap in place from the sealed
pouch. Keep all parts to send to the lab. |

Step 1. |
Step 2.
|
|
Use a pen to write the start time on the sampler
label. Fill in the date, and give each sampler an identification
number (numbers or letters, it is up to you). |

Step 2. |
Step 3.
|
|
Remove the cap and O-ring from the sampler and
set aside for later use. Clip the sampler to a worker’s
collar, shirt pocket, or the edging around the neck on a T-shirt.
Make sure that the small holes are facing out. |

Step 3. |
Step 4.
|
|
After the workshift or task is completed, unclip
the sampler from the worker's clothing, and push the provided
O-ring and cap onto the sampler (the side with the small holes).
This stops the sampling. Write the stop time on the back of the
sampler. |

Step 4. |
Step 5.
|
|
Insert voucher and sampler in mailer. Send to one
of the AIHA-accredited labs listed on the enclosed lab list. |
