SKC is excited to announce a leadership transition. On December 1, 2021, Doug Dowis will be passing the baton of President to Susan Walton, an experienced leader and accomplished SKC sales manager and long-time board member. In addition to her various roles, Susan has a special connection to SKC…she is the granddaughter of SKC founder Lloyd V. Guild. In an interview, Susan shared: “I am humbled and deeply honored to accept this responsibility. My grandfather started this business nearly 60 years ago, and I share his unwavering commitment to protecting workers from hazardous exposures.”
On the topic of her transition to president, Susan stated, “As I begin my journey as President, I’d like to express my gratitude to Doug and recognize his many contributions to SKC over the years. He has led SKC with integrity and a customer-first mindset. Thank you, Doug for your commitment to a smooth transition. I look forward to working closely with you over the coming weeks. I am truly excited for what’s ahead.”
