Multi-element analysis for 13 metals is possible on a single filter. The metals are: Cobalt, Beryllium, Molybdenum, Cadmium Chromium, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Nickel, Lead, Antimony Vanadium and Zinc. Metal Oxide compounds are reported for the convenience of the industrial hygienist and are based on the elemental concentration multiplied by the appropriate gravimetric conversion factor. If the total weight of sample needs to be determined, evaluate gravimetrically using the method for Particulates not otherwise regulated (Total Dust). It is all right to submit Low Ash Polyvinyl Chloride (LAPVC) filters for ICP analysis after doing the Gravimetric analysis. Refer to the method for details.
