Applications

Sampling for Particulate Matter (PM):
PTFE filters with a PMP support ring are used in PM samplers such as the SKC Personal Modular Impactor (PMI), the Sioutas Impactor, the IMPACT Sampler, the Personal Environmental Monitor (PEM), and the Button Sampler. Sampling for Metalworking Fluids (NIOSH Method 5524):

Sampling for Viruses and Other Bioaerosols
SKC PTFE Filter Cat. Nos. 225- 1722 comprises laminated spun-bound polyester with a nominal pore size of 0.3 µm that is specifically designed for sampling viruses and other bioaerosols. The filter is also available preloaded with cellulose support as Cat. No. 225-1723.
