It has been a very long and transitional year for many. Occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) professionals have seen a transition to increased recognition by the public and in the media, including the WSJ, CNBC, USA Today, ABC News, and NPR throughout the pandemic these last few years (check the running list on AIHA.org). Not only are industrial hygiene professionals essential for safety and health in the workplace but also now aid in the transition to Back to Work Safely! SKC Inc. is proud of IH professionals and our ability to support them in their mission to protect workers and communities from occupational and environmental hazards.
Looking inward, with the world still gripped by the coronavirus pandemic, SKC continues to find ways to adapt to serve OEHS professionals. Our own transitioning to work-from-home and back to office, establishing distancing safety in manufacturing, adopting hybrid work schedules, manufacturing additional safety products, and transitioning leadership all speak to SKC Inc.’s adaptability. We are looking forward to 2022 when transition becomes transformation with new infrastructure and innovations. SKC Inc.’s President Susan Walton shares our excitement in this short video.
